John holds an Honours degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Queensland, is a Registered Professional Engineer QLD (RPEQ) and Certified Practicing Engineer (CPEng) with over 25 years in the design and construction of maritime, infrastructure and building projects.

Our Philosophy
We have a proud history of supporting clients above and beyond. There are situations where Caveat Emptor is alive and well and the only option for the consumer is after the fact, by taking a dispute to QCAT.
We offer an obligation free service to help protect against common pitfalls and we welcome contact by consumers who have not received the outcome they believe they paid for.
Director John Dimock has been involved in many senior technical leadership roles for the design of major projects in Australia and abroad. These leadership project and functional management roles also included mentoring less experienced engineers and managing large (20+) culturally diverse design teams.
His experience also includes many years’ leading construction management teams in Australia and aboard, responsible for ensuring that the Contractor meets their contractual obligations.
We prefer to work with the Contractor/Builder to tailor the preferred design solution to match their preferred methodology and/or equipment constraints. This applies equally to small buildings and maritime structures.
What is non-negotiable is the assurance that the design meets the relevant codes and standards at the time drawings are delivered and Form 15 and 12 Certificates are issued.
Having specialised in maritime structural design, documentation and construction management, in depth knowledge has been acquired in effective and durable detailing of heavily loaded connections and highly developed 3D visualisation skills and problem solving.
